4. Payment and Subscription

ShortsMate AI provides new users with a one-time complimentary credit upon registration for trial purposes. Once the complimentary credit is used up, a paid subscription is required to continue using the Services. All paid plans may automatically renew unless you cancel the subscription before the end of the current subscription period. You can manage your subscription in your account settings.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Platform Ownership

The Website and Services, including but not limited to all software, code, designs, text, graphics, trademarks, logos, and other content, are owned by ShortsMate AI or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you create using ShortsMate AI, including but not limited to images, videos, scripts, and other creative works, to the extent permitted by applicable law. You acknowledge that AI-generated content may be subject to limitations on intellectual property protection under certain jurisdictions, and that the availability of copyright or other legal protections for such content may vary.

When you choose to publicly share your content, you grant ShortsMate AI a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display your publicly shared content on the Website and in related promotional materials as examples and promotional content. This license is limited to showcasing and promoting the ShortsMate AI Services, and we will not use your publicly shared content for other commercial purposes without your explicit consent.

6. User Data and Privacy

6.1 Data Processing

We value the privacy and security of user data. Files and data uploaded by users (including but not limited to images, videos, text prompts, scripts, and other inputs) are submitted to AI models for processing. The content generated by AI is stored in our database and associated with your account.

We will take reasonable security measures to protect user data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, the internet is not a completely secure environment, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of user data.
